Brownie Batter Dip for Fruit

No bake, silky smooth dark chocolate Brownie Batter Dip paired with an assortment of fresh fruits is the perfect crowd pleaser, or dessert treat for two in this case.  Made from a box of dark brownie mix, cool whip, cream cheese and semi sweet chocolate chips, this recipe couldn’t be any easier.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounce dark chocolate brownie mix (you will only be using a portion of the box)
  • 3 ounce cream cheese (in the brick form)
  • tablespoon butter (salted or unsalted-room temperature)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup cool whip (whipped topping in container)
  • tablespoon milk
  • 1 dash salt (optional if you use salted butter)
  • cup chocolate chips (tiny size-semi sweet)

Instructions

  • Sterilize brownie mix in microwave bowl for 1 minute.
  • Cream butter and vanilla.
  • Beat in cream cheese, mixing well.
  • Blend in cool whip, milk, and salt until creamy.
  • Mix in brownie mix.
  • Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • Drizzle top with chocolate sauce before serving, if desired.
  • Serve with fruit, pretzels, crackers, marshmallows, or cookies.
